Lily turned and saw that despite her best efforts, the forest and valleys were gone. Once the fire had burned out, she turned and flew to where the others were.

Crystal heard the laugh, and she sensed that it was over. She laid her head down and sighed.

Reynardia searched the forest around her and Misty for life. She found a little pheasant with a broken wing, but otherwise nothing.

Sylvia looked around as well, a grin creeping up the corners of her beak. "Definitely."

Dapple looked around, his expression distraught. He looked at the huge redwood that had once been his home. All that was left was a charred stump with a small fire still on its top.

Crystal got up and looked around. She heard rustling and found a chickadee in a dead bush. She untangled the bird and let it free, and she smiled as she watched it fly away. She laid back down, munching on the little grass that was left.

During the fire, Pompona had taken shelter in a cave at the base of the moutain. Vena wimpered beside her. Thinck smoke had come in during the fire.

Lily landed beside Crystal. "I... Must tell you something." she said. "yes?" crystal replied. "we're sisters." lily replied.

At Lake Penalsain, Sandie came limping up. Her fur was scorched and she had burns all over her. She had tried to fight one of the Phoenixes, but had lost.
