Pompona tried to struggle up, She could feel the gryphon still gripping her.

"If it can." Mel was only a few meters away from her at this point, and was still gaining on her.

Though Maddox wasn't overly large for a Gryphon, he still weighed a considerable amount. He continued with his business until her horn looked almost square and not as nicely rounded as it bad before, then he stopped. "Thank you, Pompona." He said, unfurling his wings and taking flight right from her back. "It is most appreciated."

Crystal looked down and saw an apple tree. She landed in a tree top and folded her wings, looking out over Consenia.

Pompona struggled up. Her horn would grow back, but it would take almost a year before it was as sharp and rounded as it use to be.

Reynardia stood still. She doubted she could ever beat Mel in a fight. But she could try.

Maddox left Pompona without a second thought, and ascended quickly into the sky.

Dapple landed below Crystal and started grazing.

When she was close enough, avoiding Reynardia's dagger Mel grabbed onto her scruff, placing her dagger to her neck. "Any last words, rebel?"

"You're the rebel, Mel," she spat out Mel's name like poison. She tried to stab Mel in the side, even though she was sure she knew the trick.
