Aithne flipped mid air and her wings snapped out, flapping steadily while she hovered. Gently, she flew over to a nearby cliff and started cleaning herself.

After yelling at the warrior a few more times, Mel looked over and noticed Pompona. "I bet she doesn't even know where she is." Mel thought, snickering.

"Hello, Pom," Atero said. His unpleasant tone clear, "You look--ah, different." he said noting her horn. A new recruit for Mel, he thought, I just have to convince her... Pompona stamped her hoof. "What do you want?"

Incendia remembered what they'd talked about in the meeting about Mel. She decided to ask Aithne if she knew anything about it.

Maddox stepped outside his cave, narrowing his eyes against the wind that swept across the mountainside. He ruffled his feathers and opened up his wings, then stepped off the edge and headed off to hunt.

Mel smirked, "this should be interesting." She eavesdropped on Pompona and Atero's conversation from a distance.

Aithne looked up, her fierce golden eyes scanning the valley and forests. She sensed someone was watching her, although she had no idea why.

"To talk," Atero said, "I know a way, you could be safe. With me." "What are you talking about?" Pompona asked. "Mel is the ruler of Consenia!" Atero exlaimed, "Not that useless council! Come with me to her." Pompona narrowed her eyes, "She's going to attack us." Atero rolled his eyes, "She's going to attack you. Be on her side." "No," she said. "Just come with me, alright?" Atero said. Pompona sighed and followed him.

Incendia landed a few yards away from Aithne. "Hello," she said.

A warrior came up to Mel, asking her a question. She sneered something back, rolling her eyes as the warrior walked away. She turned to Atero, "who's this?" She snickered.
