Reynardia limped after Xzarnon, wincing. She looked at Kismet and the unicorns. "What's..." she saw the letter and her face turned white as chalk.

Aurum swooped over his den. He lived in a mountain far east of Mel's. His home had not been burned in the fire, so all his treasures were safe. The gold, what had worried him the most was unscathed. He soared in, his large wings scraping the walls. He rested lightly beside his shining hoard, closing his eyes and falling asleep, his ears pricked for the sound of thieves.

Ira sighed, cocking her hip and crossing her hands over her chest. "I'm back." She said, dryly. Mel and hers relationship had been very rocky. One moment, they were friends, the next they were enemies.

Atero glanced at Ira with grudging respect. He liked her, as long as she wasn't fighting with Mel, who Atero would always fight alongside.

Mel looked at her, giving her a frosty glare. "Why did you come back?"

Ira smirked, unfolding her arms and putting her hands on her hips. "Well..." She drawled, her eyes flickering to the right of Mel in thought. "I thought you might need me." She finished.

"What is it?" Xzarnon asked Reynardia, carefully. He walked back to her.
