OP starting, you cant go wrong with Birmingham show rollers, as they may do some light flying and tumbling/rolling for you too! they seem as ive seen some to be incredibly hardy, prolific and calm/tame.. good luck and hope u keep us updated.

I have been trying to get one of the kids in our 4-H group to use a King or a Parlor Roller in showmanship. Id love to see a parlor roll down the table in front of the judge lol

Pigeons are easy keepers. Just keep it away from whatever new falcon you'll be getting.

If just wanting a pretty bird to show or for performance, I would get two as they are social birds. If wanting more of a pet pigeon to show for fun, I would get one, and get one of the tamer breeds commonly kept for pets, or a show quality ringneck.
