Considering Raising Chickens. Questions in need of answers~

I'm considering raising chickens, and I've already done alot of studying so far.
I was really interested in raising Wynadottes in particular, and was curious, are they good egg-layers? From what I've read they seem to be, but I'd like a few extra opinions!

I have silvers and they are good layers. Also they are really friendly and good with kids

I have some and they are an excellent breed.Good layers,nice temperment,hardy during cold months,pretty birds! You won't be disappointed!

as long as you get hatchery birds an not purebred birds for show they should be great producers

I have a golden laced and she is a great layer and a very beautiful bird too. Shes hatchery stock.
