Considering Spitzhaubens

I'm thinking about ordering some spitz chicks but I've heard of a type of luekosis that they carry. Can anyone give me some info about this. What would the chances be that that they would or wouldn't carry it. Also would it affect the others in the flock? We have mostly mixed breeds and a couple of OEG bantams.
