Planted my tiny garden tonight, and burned up the cedar tree I took down last fall, to make room for the new coop. Hope the neighbors enjoyed the scent

Hi All,
I've been watching for the baby ducks at Orschlen. Thinking I'd like to get 2-3 but wondering about temperments etc. Is it okay to get just two or would 3 be better. I'm especially interested in runners, but maybe also kahki campbells. I'm only going by looks here so far. Also wondering how long I could hide them out in the coop in my wood shop before hubby found them. The heat light might give me away. We're going to set up another run to let the chicken into in the evening to run, so thinking I could use a section of that for a duck run. How old would they have to be before they could be in with the chickens in the evening run time? Or could they?
Is there any plan for a get together in Lawrence in the near future?

They'll be happiest in a set of three. Are there other birds in the coop? The pecking order will still be in full force and the ducklings will be the newest and smallest. They will make loud fussy noises whenever they're cold or hungry or bored. Might be hard to keep them under wraps

I will give you my pair of magpies if you come get them. Sold all the others on craigs list. Heck I will give them to any one who will come get them. I just want them to have a good home.
I am heading to Wichita today does anyone know if they have any good feed stores there thought I would pop in and see what they had for feed? Thanks for any help.
