So with peepers on my girls will have to raise their heads like they're wearing bi-focals to see what's in front of them? What an image! I certainly don't want to make them more vulnerable to ANY predators.
It was just a thought ....... Dont wanna hear bout none y'all loosing birds to a predator, I guess I should say ground predator's.

We found some deer netting at TSC that is used to cover shrubs and bushes and we just zip tied to the top of the run. It is very lightweight and works great It wasn't too badly priced. It works well.

There are several kinds on the market. The cheapest place to buy good quality stuff is 3T. www.3tproducts.com they are by far the cheapest. You can buy huge rolls of that cheap stuff that is plastic and used to cover fruit or plants but it is pretty worthless in the long run.
To cut costs you can also drape ropes or streamers across the top of the pen every couple of feet. It keeps the hawks and owls from swooping in.
The best thing I 've found for the money though, is a Great Pyrenees.
Hope everyone had a good day. I know its been very busy.
