I think the proper place for you to ask is here Wanted To Buy good luck !

No need in being a jerk about it . Everyone here had told me to ask you so I did ..... Geez ! Guess I will hide some where else

No need to hide, that is just ozawkiebantams way, I hope you find what you are looking for.
ChooksChick I wish we could have a nice spring for a change last month it was nice for a couple of days then snow, now we have nice weather then some one turns on the oven. I am so not ready to turn the AC on yet would like to have a couple of months of low electric bills since I use electric heaters in winter can't afford both gas and electric.

That reminds me!!!

I would love it if everyone on here could go check out the Efficiency Kansas program and get some major home efficiency improvements for a 0% interest loan!

We have a credit score of approximately 53...and because it's not based on your credit, nor even associated with your social security number, we still qualified for $16K in improvements because our house is old and horrific on energy use. We will get insulated walls, ceilings, and foundation, a new hot water heater, windows and storm doors all around, a new furnace and AC. It's like a prayer answered. The monthly payment is whatever our energy savings amount to, and the best part: the loan is attached to the electric meter, not us!! If we sell, the loan goes with the house!!

Wooohoooo!!! Please check it out. It's an amazing program.

Totally... Don' get me wrong I love snow and all about winter... But this almost 100 degree spring days are even more troublesome than when it happens mid summer! Give us some good 60-70 weeks to get us ready for the overly hot days first ya know! If you go all Sinead O'Conner on us though we wanna see pics

Thank you I know we need new windows and insulation and some other things. I would love to get a wood burning furnace instead of electric or gas. I will talk to DH about this thanks for the information.

NO problem! I'll be tickled if others get in on it, too! Bob Hughes was the Energy Auditor we used, and I think we may be using Heritage Weatherization to do most of the work. It's so flexible, you can do the work yourself so you can upgrade the quality of the windows (that's what we're going to do on windows) or somesuch...you can also pay the difference between what you're approved for and desired upgrades if you like: we were thinking about putting in an instant heat water heater. You can't use any of the money to pay yourself for labor, but you can still make all of the choices on how the work is done and what gets done with your choice in materials, so long as it's all high efficiency. I'm just thrilled.

Yeah I think the government should do some thing about this weather. With all the taxes we pay couldnt they just keep it at about 70 degrees most of the year!!

Daren it must be your alter ego speaking "Darin". Or it could be the heat. I know I dont want to do much and may tend to be grouchy. Speaking of heat I let the girls out. Really worried about Mr.Fox He seems to be like 10 am charlie. Just cant keep the girls locked up in the heat. They need to be dusting in the shade and catching bugs. Crossing my fingers that the girls stay on the down low and out of his path!!!
