Consolidated Kansas

HELLO KANSAS!

I haven't been on this thread in a while but I need to find a loving home for a PET QUALITY CORONATION SUSSEX Rooster, he just started to crow 2 weeks ago. He is a cull but I don't "cull" (kill) my birds. He is beautiful but his wing feathers don't fit tight and his body is not close enough to standard kind of "slouchy". He has amazing color and the sweetest gentle personality I've ever seen on a Coronation Sussex. I just am feeling overrun already with cockerels and kept on going back and forth on whether to keep him or not but I think he needs a new loving home only since he won't fit into my breeding program - and to someone who won't breed him, as I breed to heritage standards and he would not throw good offspring. SO on that note who would like to give this great guy a loving home. He gets along with other chickens of all sizes and doesn't pick on anyone - he is very passive and low on the totem poll. If you feel like you would like to give him a great safe loving home let me know by PMing me. Donation would be appreciated of what you can afford. Thanks and again let me know or anyone else who would like to give him a permanent home

I won't be at the auction tomorrow after all. I'll be checking in here later on Saturday to find out who went and what kind of products they had there. Have a great weekend everyone!!

Nice pics Darin. We got there and the Auction had just started. There was a lot of birds. Prices were going good too. White Homers at $5 each blond Pea fowl over $100. Golden Pheasents were about $13 each. Quail about $5 each. Lots of stuff Call ducks out the wazoo.

I was there today. Kind of a disapointing day. Only was able to buy 2 cages of pigeons and 2 cages of pheasants. Everything else sold good enough or crazy high.
