I too am LAMO. I am going to have to get a scale that weighs in ounces, I need more options to brag about my girls. I love them. Still we need Darin so we can better appriciate our own girls!

Hello every one. I just wanted to introduce my self to the local group. My name is Neil and my better half is Jena. We grew up in Olathe and now have a small Hobby Farm 5 miles west of Ottawa where we keep a Cat, 2 horses and 32 chickens. We have been here for that last year as of today the 14th. Its been a real life change from the city to were we are today and with all that we have now I doubt we could ever see our selves in a city again. We also enjoy off-roading in our 06' TJ Jeep wrangler that is built for off road use only now days. We travel to Colorado 2 maybe 3 times each year for pleasure. We look each day for new ways to be a bit more green and are always open to new ideas. Well enough about us for today but hope to make some local friends into the same things we are. Also I need to order some rare breed birds in the spring but will have to make a 25 min order so if anyone is looking to get some birds I only need maybe 6.

Hi DK and welcome. I'm a ways north of you at Hiawatha. What kind of chicks do you have and what are you ordering? I have BCM's, bantam partridge wyandottes, black rosecombs and this spring will be getting an order of lavender, black and silver ameraucanas. I also have a few BO's and BJG's. They are not show quality. Just chickens. The hens lay nice eggs.
