Consolidated Kansas

Maybe one of your neighbors is not so happy with you. I would certanly do the necropsy. I would also freeze one or two. List exactly what your seeing and maybe someone on here can offer suggestions. How are the ducks any symptoms?
We all I am sure hope you get to the bottom of this and correct it.

ChooksChick gave the info not too long ago. Any questions, call. All my dealings with KSU have been very helpful and nice people.

Thanks for that info Avery and ChooksChick. I don't need it now but I just copied and pasted into a word doc to save with my other chook-related info so that in the event I need it one day, I won't be scratching my head thinking "now I know I saw that on the forum once....

Not really in a joking mood right now. I have a legit problem going here, and would like too resolve it before I continue on with comedy hour.

Avery,
I will get you a list after i am done with all my observations, been freezing my tail feathers off stareing at each bird in the coop.

I have so many chicken related bookmarks (I really need to make some organized folders) that it was easier to do a search as I knew she'd recently posted about it.

I've had assorted dealings with KSU's vet dept and poultry dept as well as the KAHD since we got into poultry. Haven't had to actually send in any birds, but I imagine it's the same as anything else with them. Just a bunch of nice, helpful, friendly people. And I swear I was a complete pest for probably 6 months out of last year.

I don't think he was joking......neighbors who are tired of crowing have been known to do some pretty low things to the birds.

Yes, do check with KSU. You need to know what is going on. If it's not maraks, and they do not have any parasites, then you need to figure out what else is the problem. It would be a shame to get rid of all your birds if you didn't have to, and it would be a shame to start over and have the same thing happen.

Good luck.
