Good morning Kansas. I hope that all of you had a good weekend! Anyway I just wanted to get this week started out on a good foot! My Jeep has been down for near a month so I can’t get out and around unless my wife is home with her car and I'm going nuts from doing nothing for 2 days!!!! Not that I didn’t have things to do, just didn’t have what I needed to do them! So here is to the start of another work week!

Good morning! You know just when you think you got it smoothed out, something has to happen! Our blue orpington decide to go broody. The Board of Directors in our house is split on breaking her or letting her hatch whatever she is sitting on... I am not even for sure if she is sitting on her own eggs! Decisions, decisions... Poor girls hormones just kick in at the wrong time - first time around was the heatwave last summer when we broke her broodiness as she was sitting on a golf ball. Second time, was in october when after 14 days she decided she wasn't broody anymore! Don't you think the third time is the charm??? I figure it won't hurt her to sit on the few eggs in the nest? Whatcha you all think? Since all my boys and girls are integrated, who knows what it will be????

Busy as Bob the builder up here. Been building pheasant pens an now working on my big pen for my Mandarins, Red Creasted Pouchards, Wood Ducks, Bahama Pintails, Marble Teal, Northern Shovelers, Tree Ducks, Chiloe Widgeon....... and a few more. Can' t wait.
