Anything is better then them dang ticks , If I have to go with Guineas again I will . the nice thing about having them in the winter is all the neighbors windows were closed.

I don't really see how you will have any trouble with the neighbors. In Lakeside Village, people are living in tents and school buses, so I don't see a codes problem, maybe a drunken hillbilly problem. No joke, unless you are on the "good" side.

A good friend of mine's grandparents had a lot and camper parked on the bad side. This is of course when there was no bad side. When they passed away, my friend inherited it and we fixed it up and sold it for whatever we could get (not much). The people who bought it were living in a school bus, and the people they sold the school bus to were living in a tent. This is all on the North side of the village.

Holy crap! What the heck goes on in Ozawkie!? It sounds like you're talking about Missouri!

Haha people think party cove at perry lake is wild, I've been to lakeside village and if I didn't have four wheel drive I'd prolly still be there, that is hands down the craziest place at perry lake. I was riding with my boss in a brand new truck on the north side and I was certain we were gonna get car jacked!! I've spent some time all over the KC metro area and I've never been as nervous as I was at lakeside.

On the subject of guineas don't your neighbors have a tick problem too? Can you explain the benefit of the guineas to them? If not I don't see them lasting long, my closest neighbors wouldn't mind me having some but I don't want to hear it!

Is Lakeside that crazy winding hilly place with the bizarre carny people and ramshackle lean-tos and stuff? We went there once to look at a bunch of spare lumber someone was supposed to be giving away and we got lost down in the hollows and labyrinth...and hubby kept saying things under his breath like, "Boy you got a purty mouth..." and "Squeal like a pig!!"

I was sure I was dreaming or something, because it was toooooooooo surreal!!

Who was it the other day who said, "Paddle faster, I hear banjos!!"??
