What size do you need? I get my boxes from boxes4birds.com and http://poultry2.tripod.com/id3.html

You
can also get boxes from Petco that are 10x12x16, and while you CAN ship in them, they don't have filter over the vents, and they aren't approved by the USPS. My PO ships them regularly and you can get filter paper to cover the vents.

Let me know if you need any other info about shipping.

Renee do you ship chicks? Not needing any just good information to have.

Aryk,
You have to have an NPIP certificate to ship birds. They should be banded and the information filed with the state. You also need to have NPIP stock in order to ship eggs across state lines but people ship eggs all the time without it.

Yep, I'm NPIP certified, but not certified to test. I do ship regularly, both chicks and older birds.

I like to take them to the last truck out, at 6:30 pm and they go straight to the hub and right onto a plane most of the time. Shorter trips, usually.

I do all of the packing and printing labels here. I've shipped all over.

I am certified to test. I don't have any of the antigen to do it right now. It cost $90 a bottle, is a thousand doses and expires quickly. I am hoping to find someone to sell me about 100 doses at a time. However there aren't a lot of certified testers in the state.
