Consolidated Kansas

Canchaser-you're in luck ivywoods lives right there. I used to live in Sabetha but I don't think anybody I know up there has chickens anymore.

if you need some barn cats.
Hawkeye & Seramaslovers Mcmurry has the "tophat special" that can include polish, sultans, hudans, any crested breed and I'm betting that that's where the "tophat" confusion stemed from, I do agree that it looks like a gold laced polish. Danz- please be careful with those fumes, it sounds like you're about as accident prone as I am

SeramaLover, the diapers are cheap, and there is no way I'd want to clean poo off my couch or floor. There are actually several places that sell them for about $3.00 a piece. I know MyPetChicken has them and https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=587024-- this is a person who makes them herself to fit. There are many other people that make them, too. Just do a "chicken diaper" search within this forum and you'll find tons of options. If you're handy with sewing, you could buy one and then use it to make your own later.

Top hats is a nickname they give to polish. Lots of people call them that but they are in fact Polish. That is a gold laced polish.
Yes they do make chicken diapers. There is a person on here that sells them: lovemychix
I just ordered duck diapers from her for my Mom's duck. You can also find them on Ebay.
Yeah Hawkeye I had quite the mess! That is kind of how my life goes!

I am looking for someone with hatching eggs....not today, but will be getting my bator soon! I would love some really good quality, nice size white rocks and a couple of leghorns (prefer pullets) to add to my flock.

I am missing posts left and right folks, sorry.

I know a gal with B/B/S Rocks, but she's not selling any until spring. I don't know anyone with Leghorns around here. There are Sussex, Orps, Buckeyes, Welsummers, and others around this area, but I'm not sure anyone has any for sale. Maybe you can ask at the feed store?

Good luck!
