I also found a pattern on line for chicken diapers. But by the time you bought the stuff to make them it is about as cheap to buy them already made.

I couldn't ever see myself buying anything like that before. But since I gave my Mom a baby duck and she can't get outside to deal with it, the only option was to buy it diapers. The duck diapers have a harness on them so you can hook a little dog leash to it and walk your duck. But personally if I were going to walk a duck, I don't think I'd have diapers on it. Know what I mean?

Does anyone know of someone who butchers and packages birds in the Wichita area? I will have about 6 birds from my laying flock that will need processed in the spring and we are seriously thinking of raising meaties this spring but I don't know where to take them. I do not want to do it myself.

I don't have a clue around Wichita. I think you might find someone around Yoder where they have that auction. Those people tend to do things the natural way. A couple of the gals that live that direction can help you out.
