Consolidated Kansas

tweety-that probably won't work because most duck eggs incubate for a week longer than chicken eggs and the duck hen brings back the extra humidity, that duck eggs need, when she takes breaks to swim and eat. So a chicken will most likely get bored and give up before they would hatch and they wouldn't have enough humidity to hatch anyway.

Welcome Showinbirds! I'm not sure where everybody is tonight, but they all must be busy. At any rate welcome to BYC & the Consolidated Kansas thread!

I love talking all birds, I've had a little of this and that over the last 10 years but I'm more book smart than experienced, there are plenty of great knowledgable people here for that though. I try to answer what I can and wait for the other to chime in and reinforce it. Welcome!

If you are in Cherokee county, I'll bet you know my sister, Checoukan. So tell us a little more about yourself. We love having new folks on the thread. What kind of chickens do you have?

Feel free to ask questions, add information and post pictures. We REALLY love pictures!
