Jeff. No he is the only one. I got rid of the other one and was trying to get rid of this guy last night. Funny I just read your post. I do not know what kind. I ordered eggs last year from a breeder and they were two of each breed they raised. They were mailed on one of those 120 degree days and needless to say only two were viable by the time I got them. He is a pure breed of something just do not know what. If you are interested, let me know ASAP cause he has got to go...

I used to have parakeets as a kid. Can't say I'm an expert. But it would be fun to raise them! They are adorable!

BTW, I think my pigeon finally took off. I didn't see it yesterday. Thank you for all your help! I'm sure you think I'm nuts!! LOL

Ok UPDATE FROM IVY!!!
Ivy's DH in having the heart cath. They have found a coranary that is narrowed. Don't know how much. Don't know if they are going to be able to stint it. Don't know if they will have to go in and do a bypass.

Lots of help arn't I. Any way as soon as I hear more, I will let you know. Praying he does not have to have a bypass, but it he does, I know he will do well. Don't know much about Topeka Dr.s, but the ones in Joplin saved my life. I am sure he is in good hands. The Dr,s and Ivy's!!!!!

I mean only good things when I say I'm glad they found something- it's better to find something to fix than to be ill and have no idea what to treat! I am hoping it will be an easy fix. Even if they have to do a bypass, I know he'll feel a million times better- everyone I know who's had one has healed well and has reported feeling like they could breathe and have great gobs of energy again.

I'm going to be offering up Silkies if anyone is in search of them. Mostly Blue, but some Splash and Black, too. From 4 weeks to 10, so while we can guess at the genders...no guarantees.

Hoping for lots of rain tomorrow...the world is getting crispy!

I jsut got my confirm for my order. I'm super excited. I ordered from Cackle, and I am (and I'm still getting the ones from you Verna and some favorelles) some blue, golden laced, silver laced, and white crested black polish, then I ordered in a few more Buttercups, 25 Speckled Sussex hens and 2 roos, also ordered in a few more Phoenix. I love those birds! I'm excited, and figured everyone on here would understand my excitement! lol

Okay, this is the new "hutch" style coop I've been working on! OH--- and you can see my yellow coop that I just finished in the background on the first picture. Last year, my kid's redwood playset was torn apart in a bad storm (along with our shed and pergola, a few other things...) Soooo... I am reusing the wood. The wood is totally fine. It's already treated. I do think I'm going to paint it anyway. But here is what I got done so far. Tired, so I don't know if I'll do anymore today. I'll probably finish it tomorrow. SERIOUSLY... this is the first build that has taken me practically no time at all. I'm getting GOOD! LOL!!! Actually, I spent most of the morning hunting thru the wood debris and dragging it out and cutting it up. I probably could have had it done by now if I hadn't wasted so much time hunting.
