Yeah those darker brown colors especially, I refer to as spray paint. 'Cause it washes off easily. But people do love that brown color. They often associate it with a richer egg but I've never seen any evidence to that.
I don't have any blue egg layers in chickens. But my button quail laid blue eggs. They often turned out brown or green or speckled. But if you broke the egg it was blue inside. I always found that kind of cool.
I don't like producing white eggs at all. It seems they stain so easily and seem so plain. I like eggs that say... this is a home grown healthy free range egg.
I just got a message that a couple people were wanting ducks and pullets. Maybe I sold too fast and too cheap. I really don't have any young girls to sell right now unless I could catch a few of the wild ones that would have a couple more months until they lay.
