Thank you, I am so tired of the snow that I had to remove Sherlock Holmes off aka Samson and put something else on, and yes I love them so much they are my children...hey easttx hows your weather? I heard that it's going to be colder in Texas than in Alaska.. wow.

It's miserable, Miss Lydia.
It's 33 degrees(27 windchill) and the humidity is really high. We just really don't cope well with these temps down here.

easttxchick I don't think he is in denial or meditating. He is trying to blot out painful memories - maybe post traumatic stress - Didja see the movie "The Hurt Locker." I think this guy is hurtin' bad.

easttx I have 1 just like him, he's always in trouble. Just turned 1 yrs. in Dec. and he just can't help himself.. even when he's not in trouble he looks guilty. He has chewed up more wood than any of our previous doxies and I have had a few, my dh says when they start messing with the color, the brain gets messed up too.. here he is,

and when I say wood I'm not talking firewood. the little stinker!

you should have 3 of em.. I wouldn't trade them for nothing though.. they are little clowns in fur.

I had 2 and lost them both. They both lived to be 16.
My sister got me this little guy after I lost my black and tan boy last year. Looks just like him.
I don't think my DH could handle living with any more like this one!

our last 3 died at 16, 14, and 13,

so in the last 3 years we have been starting over so to speak

My ds is a dachshund enabler, he calls me tonight to tell me about 2 puppies he called about,

hey were is everyone? shoveling snow?
