You can bet Ill be watching for any aggresive behavior in the little roos.

The last hatch was really the worst of the bunch. Woke me up at 2 am several times. They would have the brooder trashed in 12 hrs.

The last wk I was cleaning twice a day.

Couldn't wait to put them out.

I STILL have the hooligans in the sunroom due to the cold. It's time for them to get outta here! They're growin' beards and are college age now!
Sheesh, I need to quit babying them.

My son offered to put a ceiling in my feed room in the barn and insulate it so I can keep the brooder out there.

Yeah and I think I'm gonna hold him to it.

I've got plenty of insulation in the work shop it used to be heated but the furnace was old unsafe so we trashed it.

I guess I better send you one of my latest hooligans - 18 of the chicks in brooder seem to get along very well - then there is Stripe - he reminds me of the nasty gremlin - at two days he is already trying to swing from the ceiling in his brooder - perches at the top of their stuffed toy and accosts his sleeping siblings.....not sure by his color where he came from either - the eggs all came from my NH chickens and I don't have any that have a black stripe down the middle of their heads......I am saying it is from aliens.........he is the first one here to come and take over the world and he is off to a good start! I hear screaming from the brooder and sure enough - Stripe is causing the problem!!!!!
