Just redid this cabinet for my babies set to hatch this coming weekend. It has 2 levels if needed to house 2 different hatches or breeds. Or I can open up a hole in floor and put a ladder in for them to go from top to bottom for some exercise when they start growing and need more space before heading out to the coop.

This is beautiful! I'm going to offer one piece of advice that I need to do myself. You should put a good 3 in. tall piece of plexiglass at the bottom of each door. Mine is the same as yours, and the floor is covered in piles of shavings everyday. Mine is in my basement, so I don't mind too much but your floor is very pretty. The shavings fly everywhere.

I absolutely love the dresser brooder. My better half built me our first. We tried it out with couple banty chicks we got 2 weeks ago. It has a divider to be placed in the center. Hopefully we'll need that in about 5 day when our eggs (please please please) hatch

Hopefully I can at least get an honorable mention for the cheapest-find for a brooder!

Nothing like a Pack N' Play in perfect condition at the Salvation Army store for $3!

I have two GOF stackable brooders so they are not that creative. Giving them the funnys is as creative as i get with a brooder. They love the funnys.

And here they are reading about the olympics.

Ive built allot of creative brooders but they have come and gone. I like the cleanability of these over wood brooders. Its just so nice to hose and whipe them down with ease.

Okay, here is my brooder presently. We had a large dog crate, lined it with cardboard boxes and newspaper on the floor. Not quite as creative as last years - I had 3 large plastic tubs connected by small cardboard boxes. I cut the inside of the lids out and covered them with chicken wire. My boys said it looked like a chicken prison (we watch the Walking Dead) and the outside coop and run was then dubbed Woodbury.

This is what i used two years ago. they work great you can throw away the cardboard and wash the bottom tray easy. I liked that one 2
