My blue jubilee orpington and jubilee orpington chicks! I not only took this photo, this photo is also not photo shopped. I made the hat and wedding veil specifically for this photo for my save the dates. It was an effort keeping them still - this was the only good photo out of around 50+! Decided to give it a try - taking pictures of baby chicks is not an easy mission - they just aren't all that interested in posing the way I want them to. These are my bantam cochin chicks from this year. They are doing so well - hoping to have the coop ready to move them outside before long.

and here is one when they were almost a month old - already feathered out - sort of.. This week someone is trying to crow - with the emphasis on Trying. Not the best pic - but I do like the expression on this little ones face.
