I got ya beat. I had one pullet lay an egg in a nest box stored in the attic of the coop........no shavings or anything in it, just up there in storage.I NEED that coop. I just found two eggs in a bucket of feed! I guess lay pellets are comfortable?!?
I have a 6 nest roll out nest box that is in a shed because it is too big for my coop. The Trader Joes hens got in when the door blew off and started laying eggs in it. They lay a lot of eggs! by the time I found it, there were 40 or so eggs in there!I got ya beat.
