Oh my, why would I not want Guineas! - That is the question you should have asked if you were hoping for a short answer! But since you asked why I do want Guineas, you should sit back and relax because here comes my answer
They are fantastic birds!
They also are fantastic bug eaters. Ticks are probably the most-feared bug for me ever since my friend got Lymes disease
I know we could simply use poison to get rid of those pests, but why would we want to do that when there is a completely natural method of eliminating them - Guineas!
Okay, bug-eater's talk aside, there are so many reasons to want this beautiful species in your back yard
I love the fact they still have some "wild" blood in them compared to these "posh" Bantams I raise!
Despite what some people may say, I think they are also very pretty! Especially in any variety including Lavender.
Also, I am blessed enough to now own a used-but-working cabinent incubator that has never once been filled ---the incubator, at the thought of having empty shelves---->
Well, I better stop for now... because I could go on for another hour
Thank you for making this offer available, and thank you for considering me
Oh yeah, there is also the fact that I started and now teach the 4-H Poultry Club for my county, so any extra birds will go to help these kids in their own projects
