you are histerical..next time your egg goes for a walk you need to give a time out
I have a lock on the 'bator but last night, I dunno, I think I heard them picking it and talking in hushed clucks........?
The first time I hatched polish I hatched 3 who were just gorgeous. One day I came home and one was missing except a pile of feathers and all the other chickens were accounted for except one which we were searching for my and chicken herder (my boxer) starts to frantically bark and I found my 2nd polish in the brush. She had no discernible injury anywhere but had severely labored breathing, I brought her in for the night and she died. Then my last one was out in the front yard with the rest of the flock and as my neighbor and her great dane and rottweiler walked by, they all ran but my polish got confused and the dogs pulled out of their leash and killed it. my kids here commotion and ran to the window and watched the dogs slaughter the chicken. My neighbor was devastated...I didn't hold it against her. But no more polish for me. :(
My Sultans are like that, I'm kind of worried about putting them in their coop and run... the dog next door is scary!
I think we have all had a hatching horror story at some point in our hatching history! We all needs hugs!

I have had some horror stories
Most of them are from the beginning and just plugging in a machine and dropping in some eggs. You fill it up as they are lay ed and keep handling them. Than wonder why they blow up. Eggs are so delicate and porous. They absorber germs from our hands so easy. I ware gloves now or use hand sanitizer before handling eggs. I no longer get a ring or have blown up or weepy eggs.

AM I getting this correct.....

There is one remaining prize on 3 so we need to post on it and we need to post on 18 with CPL???
