my worst was this summer, had 5 incubators full, over 100 turkey eggs, silkie eggs, black dutch bantams, and old english game. Power went off right before lockdown l lost every one of em

I have had some beautiful hatches
I have some broody hens that will set eggs and hatch every single one

Broodys are the BEST

Checked on the eggs, no pips seen, no cheeping, but the 3 banty eggs now have a little beak shaped protrusion into the air sac area....it begins! (I hope...would feel better if they were cheeping.)

I've yet to try a broody for a incubator. Might try that next year.
