My worst hatch was a couple months ago. Set 33 eggs most made it to lockdown only 8 hatched. The ones that died after lockdown died before pip. or after. They were perfect. all but 1 had asorbed their yolk.

Do you have any idea what happened? I am actually terrified that all my chicks will die this hatch, too. *gulp*

I think that will be my main focus as far as ducks next year. DH actually loves the 3 that we have. Now if that would apply to my chickens.

Silver Appleyards are beautiful ducks for sure!
