Any idea on how to cut down on the flies in the chicken coop? I clean out poop daily and left over food but it's like the flies know food and poop could come at any minute so they hang around! lol!

There is a thread here about the auto deoderizers shaped like christmas trees in the vanilla scent. They work, I have 3 hanging in my coop. Do a search for it, you will gets lots of info. The places where you could hang little yellow Christmas trees are endless.......

I've also tried the scented trees with good results. So far my most prolific "crawly" predator has been ants. I think my DH has figured out their madness and taken control of them with a product named Amdro. It was beginning to look like a horror flick around here!
