Converted shed

Hi yall! Just joined and thought I'd post pics of our coop. Bought a house last year on 4 acres surrounded by woods. There was a rotting shed with a lean to about 100ft from backdoor. I converted it and now had our first flock for about a month.

Is it a good idea to keep brush down from the woods so predators can't sneek up. It gets pretty thick.

Yes, it's good idea to keep brush cut back away from coop and run..but shade can be important too.

Chicken wire is not predator proof..many can chew right thru it.

Is that dog outside 24/7?
That can really help keep predators away...depending on dog.
