Converting Dog House to Coop

I picked up this Large dog house off Craigslist for next to nothing and need to convert it. The roof is already hinged and the floor is detachable. I'm thinking exterior nest boxes & need to add ventilation. Any other tips/tricks/advice?

Something to roost on inside? Mine sure like to roost.

You can divide it in half with some hardwire cloth and then use it to house a trio of small bantams in each side.

Or just add a roost down the middle.

I added a door to my doghouse, that I can lock. I also built a removable roost with a built in droppings board. It sits just a few inches off the ground and the girls use it.
