They look very pretty! I love the burst of feathers on her head!My favorite breed is Appenzeller Spitzhauben—-This Swiss breed is cute, quirky and friendly. They are smallish but lay lots of big eggs (white).
Mine are silver spangled which is the most commonly available.

Oh no, I am so sorry to hear that! I hope you can get another one soon.We actually did get a welsummer but she died at three weeks old from mareks despite being vaccinated.....We do want another one though!
