Do you guys think it is worth the risk to wait a few weeks and have 2 cockerels and a pullet possibly until next spring?

Is there a time limit on getting rid of cockerels?

I do think that two cockerels with the blind pullet until spring could be quite hard on her, as they will be grown up enough to want to mate well before springtime.

I'm not seeing anything cockerel-like yet! Even the thick legs can occur in pullets. Here's my Partridge Orp pullet at various ages who had some of the thickest legs I've seen in a chick! Eventually she grew into those tree trunks. She made her gender known by her feathering, but it just shows that sometimes the secondary sex characteristics aren't accurate. Comb and feather shape, patchiness, and color are my go-tos! Sometimes when they're too young for these, you just know however! Obviously not always, but if your gut goes that way, you can never have too many chickens 😋

In my Leghorns, the cockerel had really thick legs, was really slow to feather, had the stubbiest tail ever, he also he was larger and taller, I wish I had another Wyandotte to compare to, but I don't😞 actually another Wyandotte to compare to would solve all my problems lol.
