cooked apples

I just made strawberry lemonade jelly and have lots of cooked apples left. Is this ok to give to my girls? I have been cutting back on feed (they are free range) during the summer and was hoping to give them more treats to make up for it.

As long as it's just straight apples I see no problems with it. Mine love apples, we have a big orchard and every fall they go and eat the fallen apples.

I feed mine anything we eat. They have left over broccoli, corn, the whole gamut. I give them the apple core, when I have finished with it. The may not eat the skins, but I would think they would enjoy the rest.

Thanks everyone.. My girl put them in the coop and said they were "fighting" to get to them.... I guess they liked them..LOL
