Cooked wheat and oats

Where I work we make breakfast cereals with either oats or wheat. The wheat is cooked so the grains are soft and can be squashed not like raw wheat. How do you think this would go as an occasional chicken treat?

I think they will love it! I give my flock warm oatmeal in the winter and they gobble every bite.

It's fine and they'll love it. Even though it's soft, they'll still probably need some grit to help grind it up, just be toss some in the run every so often and let them scratch around for it.
