I have a collection of cutters. Started with the ones I used as a child to make cookies. Then the set of "the twelve days of Christmas" from the '70s that I used every year to make cookies to hang on the tree (which my boys would take off the tree and eat, thinking I didn't know what they were doing). Through the years I got a few at a time, until now I have an old fashioned gallon size cookie jar, five 12" tall x 6" around, and two pint jars full! There are about a half dozen ceramic "cookie press" forms mixed in. Tomorrow is the annual cookie making day with the grandkids (ages 5 & 2) Gotta mix sugar cookie dough to chill overnight so we can start early.

Don't you just love that?! Its great to keep up those traditions every year.

I'm always on the look-out for more cookie cutters to add! Tomorrow we are going to start baking cookies too. Enjoy!

I admit it. I am a closet cookie cutter collector. I have more than I will ever use. I'm really upset right now because I can't find my favorite angel, candle and star shaped cutters. While searching for them, I realized that I must have over 100 cookie cutters. Actually, it's probably more like 200, but I'm not ready to admit that yet.

I have all horse, western and cowboy ones. The copper ones I hang in my kitchen as decorations and the "tin" ones I put away for making cookies.

Right now I'm pooped from decorating cookies, making fudge, dipping pretzels, etc. Perhaps I can post some pics Thursday.

Its so nice to see all us cookie cutter lovers out there! My hubby thinks I'm nutts! I've got over 200, I'm sure of it!! Tomorrow, I plan on doing lots of cut outs. Started getting out more of the Christmas ones I have.
