Cool feeding station idea

Thank you. I'm looking forward to those few extra minutes that I don't have to spend filling it up with feed or moving the feeder out of the upcoming bad weather.

Love it Kuntry,  we have ours under cover also, crude but functional.  I actually have 3 feeding stations covered, it's suppose to rain the next 3 days so will get pics when i can.. :)

Thank you. It rained a lot yesterday, so I'm excited to check today to see how the feed stayed dry on yesterday. I think I'm going to love this new feeder. I am soooooo excited!!!

Well here are mine. not so pretty but do the job, and all made out of scraps, even left over singles..

Ooooooooo, I love them!!! They are cute !!!!!!!!! Looks like a log cabin. All you need is a rocking chair for the ducks to sit in when it rains. The shingles are awesome. I love both of them Miss Lydia.

Makes me wanna get a few more made based on your design. I could have another feeding station for my gang-trio that are in a separate pen because of their rambunctious behavior.

Good job! :thumbsup

Thanks k, they have to be easy for me to make them, I put the metal roof on the one but my dh does the shingles, I am no good at that. I do have a wood glider on the patio right off the lot they are in and when i leave the gate open some of my girls think its their personal place, but of course then i have to get out the hose and clean it off.

What a worker bee you are!!! You did a fantastic job!!!! I am definitely inspired by you. I may have to try making one. I always have scrap materials laying around.

Well i am very impressed by yours because they can get to it by both sides. Thats why i have 3 stations because they can only acsess by one side but thats okay at least the food is dry.

yes please do post cause i was looking into it for the ducks

As i said ours is done in a pretty crude fashion, totally scrap materials.. but they love sitting on top of it and it does keep the feed relatively dry, since the heavy part of winter is here i am not using it since i cannot keep water open outside of the barn-so all feed/water is in there now-
