I am looking for a couple of outdoor cooling devices. I would like to clamp or mount them on the outside of my hard cloth window, either blowing in or out, whichever
way they cool best.
Any thought? Thanks

I have this fan,I mounted mine in front of a window. It cools good.and I love the thermostat, the three different speeds and the exhaust features.I don't think it would hold up outside in the wet weather.I also purchased three barn fans.I have them mounted outside on my runs and coops.but they are really powerful.they state on the box for indoor use only.but they have a enclosed motor.the first two I purchased are now three years old and run fine.

I have small coops, and I don't think I would have room inside for a fan. I'm really hoping to find one that is waterproof.

Our coop is not that big either but the double fan we bought(from Home Depot) fits just fine. We've had it for about a year now. The motors are in the inside of the unit so you don't have to worry to much about the rain if you can make a small overhang.

That's a great idea. I'm also snagging your idea for the lock on your nest boxes. My husband and I were just trying to come up with a good idea for ours. Thanks.

The controls(the front) are inside the coop. In the picture above that's the back of the fan.

Yes, we have to go into the coop to change the controls(the speed of the fan) but we have it on a timer. It's comes on around 6pm and runs all night in the summer.

I have seen where you can buy one with a remote. Picture of inside the coop
