my trap is a havahart model#1081 it is 42LX15WX15H
i have had my trap for 6 years and it has caught around 15-20 coons a year. i use it in the spring and summer then my nephew traps with it all winter and by the way it smelled when he dropped it of this spring it has caught at least one skunk...lol

today when i woke up there were chickens bodies everywhere that were eaten inside out with there heads gone 3 laying golden comet hens at this point now of losing 5 hens and 1 roo im ticked so i set some lights out there just to the ones that stake in the ground and turns on when it gets dark so i put 2 of them in the run for the chickens and i go out there right when its getting dark and i wait for an 1 1/2 and i hear something so i draw back my bow and then i see some shadows that were blocking the light those coons are testing there boundary since those lights are up but tomorrow night im not going to mess with my bow im bring the 4/10 shotgun alot easier will update also i have 2 traps set

thanks but i set those lights up i was talking about and last night they were discovering there new boundaries but no night im going to get them i think they will come in the run know b/c they now the lights are harmless

if you can make them out when they are just out of range try a lip squeak i have called a few in closer like that.....
