Coons Anyway to Stop Them From Coming Over the Fence ????

Exactly WIchickenraiser, I have a hot wire 6 inches off the ground and 6 inches from the top that runs completely around the entire run. I live in the middle of the woods with predators everywhere. The pop door is never closed. I have never had a lose due to a coon or any other predator. I swear by the electric fencing. It is a very cheap insurance policy for our chickens.

I want to thank all of you for your wonderful help.
I went out and bought 2 traps to put out. we haven't seen the coon since that night, but I'm sure there are more out there as we live out in the country.
Y'all have given us so many options and have been so helpful I am so glad to be a part of BYC.
