Sweet! I just got my 17th coon yesterday and we are talking about a very small wooded area with houses all around it.Amazing how many can fill up a small spot.

Now all you need to do is tie a good strong rope to the cage, throw it in the pond before work and fish it out when you get home. Coonzilla won't bother anyone anymore.

yeah, I've been after coonzilla for a while. He broke my raccoon trap & so I got a bobcat-sized trap.

I trapped a big male a couple of weeks back. Now is the time to be vigilant. I suspect that I'll get a momma with some babies before the spring is out. Doesn't matter. A raccoon is a raccoon.

I set my trap every night. Cat food seems to be good bait. Actually tuna works better, but I kept catching my cats, the neighbor's cat, the neighbor's puppy...

I'd assume it was taken out into the country and safely released in order not to upset those with touchy sensibilities.
