Nice toyota.. My family usually had GM or Chevy trucks. The last time my grandpa had a ford it spent all its time in the shop, and he bought it new..

Its a very nice tundra you have there.

But I would do any thing to get rid of the power windows and door locks, and get the manual ones. I only have 2 windows in my car that open up. And one that doesnt open is the driver window. So no drive throughs for me. Some times when you lock the doors, they dont want to unlock, hence I never lock my car now. And the power ones, if my dog steps on one lock, im locked out. I was thinking about going to a junk yard and getting a door with the manual windows and locks, then replace all my doors.. I want to be able to open my windows again.. Grrr. Modern day convienances turn to inconvienances..

That's one beautiful truck! I had a camry, the 6 cylinder model and I loved it. It was traded for a Tundra which I currently drive and it had been an excellent reliable truck. I've done over 140,000 miles now and have only done maintenance on it - except for a new ignition a couple of months back. I'm starting to think I would like to trade it in on a Highlander. Nothing wrong with the truck but my dogs are getting older and stiffer and are starting to need something lower to get into and more room to move inside when they do get there. The Camry incidently is still going strong at 14 yrs old. Can't go wrong with Toyota, I've found. Oh, and I wish my truck was the same colour as yours

Congrats on the new truck! They sure are nice, aren't they?
My father has a 2006 model (right before they got really big). Lucchese edition. He loves it... That thing sure is big though! I hate having to park it. I drive a 2003 Toyota land cruiser mostly. I always hear from my cousin who has a 2005 Ranger (With less that 20,000 miles) about the stuff he's having to replace and I'm glad for my cruiser with nearly 140,000 miles and no issues. I take that car everywhere too. In the mud, no problem. Pulls my 2 slant horse trailer with no problem.

Point being, enjoy your Tundra! It'll last you as long as you need it!

Congratulations, it's beautiful! I can smell the new car scent from here

My husband drives a 2001 Tacoma and my FIL has a Tundra. They both really enjoy theirs.

Hey - thanks, guys!

PupsnPullets - It was hard for me to give up my Camry. It was my third one since 1992 (like yours, they were V6's). I really, really loved each of those Camrys. It's just that we really "need" a truck with the horses and random farm chores.

But this Tundra has all the options that my Camry had - and of course a few new things that I'll have to figure out. For example - the BlueTooth...I tried for an hour to synch them up - unsuccessfully, I might add! I've got to find a 12 year old to help me!

Sunny Hippy Chick - I just spent 3 years with the crank windows..........ACK!!!!!! Color me lazy!!!!!

Poulets, Pineapple, AKsmama, and MaggieRae - big hug and thanks for the nice compliments!

Your soo lucky! I have a 2WD Ford Ranger right now and it isan okay truck. I'd purchase a Toyota over a Ford any day but when your looking at college tuition... money is tight. I got a great deal on my Ford but when I get enough money saved up, Toyota Tacoma here I come!
