Thank you all. Last time I kept chickens I used pine shaving in the pen, over the wood floor. Worked well, but I'm open to other suggestions as the shavings get yucky looking quickly.

We'll also add an outdoor run on the back of it so the girls can get into the dirt.

It's beautiful. Just for years I have been told no cedar. The dressing room I could have gotten all that wood from was from a dance studio. I could have done a few coops. I love the smell of cedar too. I wanna cry. I ever get a chance to get it again I will, but the last chance was once in a lifetime.

You did an excellent job on this.
