I Have a ton of nails and screws in it. My final test was I kicked pulled pried every corner every board and othing budged. I went out at night and put a light in it and walked around the outside where I could see light on corners and stuff I marked and went out the next day and checked it again. I think godzilla would have to come in my yard to get into it.

Fellow Tennessee person here! Congrats on getting it done! It is great if you can make a safe coop and run without breaking the bank account and recycling is all the rage now so be proud! I wish I had had enough stuff around to recycle into a coop. Actually I did confiscate some plywood that my DH bought to floor our screened-in porch. He never got around to doing it, soooo....I told him his window of opportunity was closed! I still have 2 sheets left, so I am planning on taking that to make another coop when I get some SLW's next spring.

It's amazing what one can fabricate with just materials on hand, I just hope that the site isn't in an area that is prone to high winds. With that much unsupported overhang on the roofing tin at the least it will tend to be bent if not blown off. As pointed out tho the bottom line is security and draft/rain free home for your chickens. That is a cool color...
