My flock consists of a Buff, Barred rock, Rhode Island Red and two Polish/Cochin crosses. They're currently in a brooder, about 5 weeks old. I don't have many pics right now but will in the next few days. I have it all framed up. Just have to add t1-11, roof and of course start on the run. I have very minimal carpentry skills so let me say if I can do it anyone can. This site has been a wealth of knowledge and I look forward to giving back.
I'm still trying to figure out how I want to do the roost area. More to come

IMG_5250.JPG IMG_5256.JPG This area will be the run, connescted to the fence. I will run mesh on sides and too. Will also do a mesh skirt. Run will be covered in mesh and corrugated poly roofing. My expenses keep going up but I don't want to have to worry with predators.

Windows and T1-11 installed. Now to mesh it in and paint it.

That doesn't look like minimal carpentry knowledge to me, nice looking build. I love those nice big windows!
Haha. Thank you. I've actually kind of impressed myself. I guess when you have the passion and do a little research you can accomplish more than you think.

The girls moved in yesterday and they really seem to enjoy it. I'm starting on their ~20x10 run soon. IMG_5421.JPG IMG_5422.JPG IMG_5428.JPG IMG_5429.JPG IMG_5430.JPG
