We had 8 chickens that were laying well. Last week the coop burnt down but somehow we only lost 1 hen. after a couple days 3 hens started laying again. I'm concerned about the other 4. They are eating and drinking fine and all seem to enjoy their new coop. Any idea what could be going on with them? This is my first attempt at raising chickens.

Give them some time, it sounds terribly stressful for them, moving to a different coop will halt laying, I'm sure having your coop on fire is a lot worse. I would think it could be at least a month.
