Curious to see what the group says about coop cams.

Not questioning having them or not. We personally just bought 2 of the v2 outdoor wireless Wyze ones, installation pending. We have a well protected coop & run, an automatic door on order, lots of predators and are at odds over what the cams should do!

I have coop cameras so I can take a snap shot of where birds are at roost time so if I see something suspicious on the poop board, I can hone in on which chicken left the deposit.

I also like to see what they do in the run in the morning before I come out to turn them out. I've got lots of interesting video clips.

I like to watch my broody hens on the nest so I know when the show starts and see what she does.

Mine is pointed at the roost mainly to ensure everyone's in (though hubby often does a head count in person, but on cold or rainy nights a camera is a better option) but we've also used it to spot food nabbin' pests in the coop, like a squirrel or sparrow.
