Coop Color Help Needed

I suggest a tanish color.. New coop is an ugly red that's older and I am plannimg on either tan or a grayish..

Go with white, very dark brown, black or just seal with something clear. All of those will match that light/pastel brown that you don't want to change. Now that I think about it I guess it depends on what you like and how you want your yard to look. I think both the cranberry and the blue can work, if contrast is ok with you. Don't think the first stain works that well tho.

Color choices are so personal. I would hate to even begin to try to sway you with my unorthodox color choices :) Colors on a computer screen can vary so much too. It makes it difficult to know what the color of the tan that you are using is biased towards red, blue or green. Daylight affects how colors meld together or oppose each other. It can be maddening!

Are you going to go with a stain or a paint? It looks like you are leaning towards a stain for the other parts of the coop. I like either a dark green or a nice barn red hue to go with the color that you started with, but I am not a decorator. Actually I might use both with one just for the coop door or a prominent focal point. Buy pints though to test out your choices. It is cheaper as a rule. Neutral cool or bright color scheme is where I generally start to determine the color palette I am going for and then I change that multiple times. I am not help. Sorry. You will find your footing. Just don't rush it or feel like that you have to make a choice. If you feel rushed you will never be happy.

I really like this red with the dark brown/gray combo too. http://www.houzz.com/photos/660682/...med-Barnwood-Siding-rustic-exterior-charlotte

I added a second coat of the cranberry and I think it looks better. I'll have to see it in the sun though.
